PrintNow does not, at any time, store card information. It accepts the card information, passes it on to a 3rd party provider (like Authorize.net) and then clears it from memory. So PrintNow’s responsibility is not for the safe storage of card but to make sure that the systems themselves are secure. We have taken all reasonable measures of security:
-Physical: servers are co-located in highly secure data centers
-Network: running dedicated firewall equipment
-Servers: running dedicated equipment, running anti-virus, running URL filtering
-Monitoring: maintains an security event logging program to deliver alerts and reports for better security.
If you want to become PCI DSS compliant and use a service like TrustWave you certainly can. Many of our customers maintain PCI DSS complacency but it comes at continued costs and monthly monitoring.
