  Checkout Fields

Checkout fields are assigned to user groups to collect custom data fields during user checkout. You can define text entry fields, predefined dropdown values, or date fields. You can make the fields required and customize the validation messages that appear.

Add Field Group

  1. From your PrintNow admin, go to Settings/Checkout Settings/Checkout Fields.
  2. From the Checkout Fields page, click the Add Additional Field Group button.
  3. Enter the Name and Title of the field Group to show.
  4. Click Save to save changes.

Add or Edit Field items to Field Group

  1. From your PrintNow admin, go to Settings/Checkout Settings/Checkout Fields.
  2. From the Checkout Fields page, click the black arrow ">" on the left of the field group to expand. the child field item list.
  3. Click the +Add button.
  4. Add Name.
  5. Select Type: Text, Dropdown, or Date.
  6. Enter the Display Order value.
  7. Display Options for Dropdown values separated by a comma.
  8. Optional enable required toggle field if value enter is required. 
  9. Enter the validation message to display when fields are required.
  10. Click Save to save changes.

Assign Field Group to User Group

  1. From your PrintNow admin, go to Stores/Users/User Groups.
  2. From the User Group page click View/Edit to modify User Group.
  3. Assign Field Group.
  4. Click Save to save changes.

  Country List

The Country List page allows you to hide selected countries from your available country list during Print Store checkout.

Enable or Disable the countries you want to sell to

  1. From your PrintNow admin, go to Settings/Checkout Settings/Country List/.
  2. From the Country List page, filter by Enabled Only or Disabled Only. You can also use the search to filter the list.
  3. Disable countries by clicking the icon located in the Action column.

  Translations

The Translations page contains a list of more than 700 labels located throughout the front-end Print Store and Print Editor. The Translation Key, Default Value, User Value, and Action are located on this page.

Change Default Values

  1. From your PrintNow admin, go to Settings/Checkout Settings/Translations.
  2. From the Translations page, use Search to find the Translation Key you want to change.
  3. Click Action/Edit to enter the new value and click Save.
  4. Allow 10-15 minutes for server cache to refresh on your Print Store for change to be updated.
